Venue

The conference will be held at the Beckmann Institute on the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign campus.

Lodging 

Special conference rates have been negotiated with Illini Union Hotel:

• Room with two Queen beds for $164 per night.

• Room with two Full beds for $164 per night.

• Room with one Queen bed for $159 per night.

Reservations must be made by March 13, 2025.

To Make Reservations Online:

1. Go to https://illiniunionhotel.illinois.edu/.

2. Enter the stay dates and click “Enter it now” for Promo or Group Code.

3. Enter your group’s booking code and click update.

4. Select room type and book!

To make reservations by phone, please have guests call 217-333-1241. You will need to give the dates of your stay and provide group code USACM25.

A method of payment is required at the time of booking for all reservations in this group block.

Fees and Services:

• Guaranteed check-in time for the hotel is 4pm. Should a guest arrive before 4pm and a room is not ready for check-in, the front desk is happy to store luggage until a room becomes available.

• Check-out time for the hotel is 11:00am on day-of-departure.

• Guests may request a Late Check Out for an additional $35 fee, and subject to availability. If you do not wish for your guests to be offered this service, you must notify the hotel front desk team at the time you submit your rooming list.

• One complimentary parking pass is provided at check-in for each reservation at the hotel, for the lot adjacent to the Illini Union. Guests may request a parking pass when checking in.

• Free use of campus rec facilities for exercise.

• Access to the Illini Union Rec Room (including bowling and billiards) and food court.

• A 15% off voucher good for food/beverage from the Starbucks and Quad Shop at the Illini Union.

• High-speed wireless internet access.

• Cable TV.

• Cancellation Policy for your group is 24-hours in advance—so long as the hotel is notified by 4pm the day before arrival, we will be able to cancel a reservation without penalty.

Travel Information

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus is accessible through:

• Airplane

  • The University of Illinois Willard Airport (Airport Code: CMI) serves the Champaign-Urbana area.

  • Other Airport Options (the following airports are at least two hours away from Urbana-Champaign and will require you to make additional arrangements to get to campus).

    • Chicago O'Hare International Airport

    • Chicago Midway International Airport

    • Lambert - St. Louis International Airport

    • Indianapolis International Airport

• Train

  • AMTRAK has service between downtown Chicago and Champaign.

• Bus/Shuttle

  • Peoria Charter (private bus company) erves many locations, including Chicago airports (O'Hare and Midway), Downtown Chicago, and several Chicago suburbs. Both pick-up and drop-off are available from both campus and several Chicagoland locations. 

  • Greyhound (private bus company) has daily service between Chicago and Champaign. Pick up is available from downtown Chicago with drop-off at the Illinois Terminal in downtown Champaign.

• Taxi

  • The average cost of a taxi is $15-20 to campus from Willard Airport or the Illinois Terminal. For assistance, please ask an employee at the airport or the terminal. Be sure to agree on the cost of your cab fare before leaving for your destination.
